The capital of Nicaragua, Managua is a 2-hour flight from Miami, 2.5-hours from Houston, and 5-hours from Los Angeles. From Managua it takes 30-minutes to fly to the airstrip near the property. If driving from the airport in Managua, it takes two hours to get to the property. Unlike the majority of other developments in Nicaragua, you drive all the way to the property on paved roads.

Upon request we can arrange the flight from Managua to the airstrip near the property, and pick you up there.

If you prefer to drive, we can arrange a rental car and driver to pick you up at the International Airport in Managua.

Lodging

Upon request we will book your hotel arrangements in Jinotega and Managua.

The best place to stay in Jinotega is the quaint Hotel Café (Coffee Hotel). It offers a warm family atmosphere and excellent food. Try the Chicken Soup with Corn Tortillas and Quajada Cheese for starters and the Pepper Steak for the main course. It’s just like mother made!

If you arrive at night, it may be necessary to stay in Managua before traveling on to the property the next day. If you plan on going directly to the property we recommend the Camino Real near the airport. If you want to visit Managua, we recommend the Hotel Intercontinental Metrocentro for five-star luxury or Los Robles for a cozy bed and breakfast.
