Northern Nicaragua is the nation’s breadbasket and is the most fertile part of the country. The forest relies on the rain to keep things beautiful and green. From May to December it rains almost every afternoon for a short while (Siesta Time). After a pleasant shower, the sun dries everything off, leaving the rest of afternoon for outdoor activities.
From January to April there is relatively little rainfall. For two months a year, March and April, the foliage dries on much of the vegetation taking on the appearance of fall in North America with shades of red and gold. The change in color gives the property a distinct but gorgeous view that is only seen during that time of year.
